Ingredients
1/4 cup margarine, melted
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 cups oats (regular or instant)
1/2 cup wheat bran cereal
1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup Mariani Wild Blueberries (4 oz.) |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350º F. 1/3
In a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, stir together margarine, honey and brown sugar. Mix oats, cereal, sunflower seeds and cinnamon. Stirring every 5 minutes, bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Stir in wheat germ, almonds, almond extract and vanilla. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and immediately stir in blueberries. Allow mix to cool before storing.
Yield: 5-1/3 cups granola
