1 cup shredded wheat type cereal, crumbled
1 tsp. orange zest
1/4 cup Mariani Berries N Apples or Tropical Medley
1/4 cup chopped walnuts, pecans or sunflower seeds
1/2 cup corn flake or bran flake cereal
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup liquid egg substitute or 2 medium eggs
1/2 cup Mariani Plums Plus, chopped
1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
In a medium mixing bowl, combine shredded wheat, orange zest, Harvest or Tropical Medley, nuts and flakes. Mix just to combine. Set aside.
In a medium sauce pan, combine brown sugar, eggs and dried plums. Stir, over medium heat, about 5 minutes, or until mixture thickens. Combine cereal mixture with heated mixture. Allow to cool sufficiently so you can work with it. On a clean work surface roll individual bars (about 2 tablespoons for a small bar or 4 tablespoons for a large bar). Roll each in graham cracker crumbs and place in plastic storage container. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before eating.
