Recipe Center Side Dishes
Plum Sauce for Ham


1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon white vinegar

1 cup Mariani Dried Plums, diced
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 cups water


In a saucepan, stir together brown sugar, cornstarch and mustard powder. Slowly stir in vinegar, plums, lemon zest, lemon juice and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil.

Serve hot over baked ham or pork roast.
