I’m excited to be able to share with you a little bit about our family. You will find some fun and easy recipes that’ll help you incorporate dried fruits into your family’s meals. Information
about nutrition can be confusing at times. The main thing to remember is that dried fruit is cholesterol free, fat free, a source of fiber, and depending upon the fruit, can have many other wonderful health benefits. What I love about dried fruit is that it is such an easy on-the-go food to grab with no peeling, no dripping juices, yet all the goodness of fruit! Dried fruit has a stable shelf life for up to 12 months, generally. You can keep bags in your car, gym bag, office, pantry...anywhere really. The big plus is it’s really easy to incorporate into any of your family meals.
Natalie: Being the oldest of five kids, I enjoyed helping out with the raising of my younger siblings, but never imagined, then, what my mom dealt with every day… chauffeuring the kids around to all their many activities and
managing a household of seven. Phew! Now that I have a little one of my own, I really appreciate the value of time-saving ways to make meals while instilling good eating habits for my son, Killian, and for me and my husband. Growing up in the family business, I am definitely more aware of the benefits of dried fruit and how easy it is to incorporate them into your diet.
Melody: Natalie and I are thrilled to be able to bring you some of our favorite recipes that we’ve enjoyed in our family for years, as well as some new creations we are trying together.
