MAINTENANCE MECHANIC -  Under the direction of the maintenance manager or maintenance lead, does building, installation, maintenance and overhauling of all process equipment.

  • 2-5 years Food Manufacturing experience.
  • Bilingual a plus   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES listed, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Read sketches, prints, operating instructions and proceed accordingly.       
  • Check materials and parts and makes requests for same.    
  • Lay out work from sketches, drawings, etc.    
  • Cut and form parts and assemble parts to construct machinery and equipment.     
  • Locate, line up and anchor machinery.           
  • Test and time machinery.        
  • Is able to repair, adjust, trouble-shoot, and time prune pitters.           
  • Is able to repair, adjust, trouble-shoot, and time weigh scales, metal detectors, and case printers.             
  • Weld, including heli-arc and stainless steel.
  • Analyses and makes necessary repairs of fluid power systems.
  • Lay out and install process piping systems.
  • Understand food processing equipment computer control systems.
  • Provides his own appropriate hand tools and meters as required.
  • Performs and schedules preventive maintenance in a timely manor.
  • Maintains records.
  • Must be able to safely operate a fork lift truck.
  • Performs other work as may be assigned by management.


 

 

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN - Assumes full responsibility under the facilities manager, maintenance manager, or maintenance lead for the efficiency and safety of all plant electrical circuits and equipment

  • 3-5 years Food Manufacturing experience.
  • Bilingual a plus   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES listed, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Makes a layout of electrical circuits.
  • Prepares material and parts list, orders necessary material and parts.
  • Perform, or directs all maintenance wiring, installation of motors, switches, switch

          panels, fuse boxes, lighting, testing, programmable logic controllers, and power circuits in compliance with the   current national electric code.

  • Determines proper size and specifications of wire, conduit, switches, panels, fuses, etc.
  • Reads and understands blueprints and circuit diagrams.
  • Inspects motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, controls, heating and power circuits. Makes preventative and running repairs and connections.
  • Performs, or directs installation, connection, adjustment, and calibration of electrical gauges and recording instruments.
  • Performs, or directs installation, connection and adjustment of PLC's and data highways.
  • Installs, adjusts, maintains, repairs, and overhauls process instruments, control instrumentation and related equipment both electronic and pneumatic.
  • Provides his own appropriate hand tools and meters as required.
  • Maintains records.
  • Is on call as necessary.
  • Performs sub-station repairs and maintenance.
  • Must be able to safely operate a fork lift truck.
  • Is familiar with the operational requirements of the solar facility.
  • Performs other work as may be assigned by management.
